Take I-65 South to Exit 37 to Bay Minette. Stay on Hwy 59 into Gulf Shores. As you come over the bridges on 59 into Gulf Shores take a right onto Hwy 180 to Fort Morgan. The Beach Club is approximately 12 miles on the left. The total trip from Prattville is approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. |
| Basic Information:
For great information regarding the Beach Club itself, click to log onto: www.beachclubal.com. There is a $12.00 per day fee to use the clubhouse area, but you will find it is well worth it. At the clubhouse, there is a workout facility, indoor heated pool, baths with sauna and steam bath. Free coffee is available from 6 am - 11 am. You can also check out DVD's and videos mainly for kids, but some others, plus games. We have 3 VCR's in the condo and 1 DVD player. The Beach Club has a fantastic Spa with everything from facials to massage, plus a hair and nail salon. There is also a great restaurant upstairs in the clubhouse. At the entrance there is a Village Market that serves breakfast and light lunches. They sell great wines and various grocery supplies, plus will deliver pizza. | Unit Information:
Basically all you need are your clothes and groceries; everything else is either at the condo, available at the resort, or nearby.
Each bathroom at the condo has a hair dryer. If you bring a computer there is a wireless router. There is even a printer in the master bedroom closet if needed. But of course we hope you are on the beach, not working. Some of our favorite restaurants fairly close by are the Beach Club restaurant, the Fort Morgan Marina (very informal) now named Tacky Jacks II, the Original Oyster House, and Lulu's. Jessie's is a little further but well worth the trip.
